Fall in love with the Peaceful remote River-Lake-country life. Peace, Joy and Bliss abound in the Long Lake-side Chalet situated on 5.2 acres, 255 feet of deep waterfront access to Long Lake / Spokane River; beautiful lake or forest views out of every window; and a sense of seclusion but only a short 20 minute drive to downtown Spokane.
Bring your water toys, kayaks, SUPs, boats and floaties. The private floating dock, electric boat lift (5000lb max) and manual jet ski lift are ready for you to enjoy a day on the lake. The 20’ rope swing over the water is an added bonus (use at your own risk)! Take in the serenity and views on one of the 2 large patios; one has an outdoor seating area for 8, a hot tub and a LARGE wood burning pizza oven/ smoker grill for entertaining or the smaller BBQ for cooking, and enjoy the magnificent views; the other has a propane fire table overlooking the lake that provides a cozy warm conversational area to enjoy a cocktail, glass of wine or beverage of your choice. Star gaze during the night, bird watching in the morning and play all day on Long Lake. Bald Eagles and their 2 juveniles have been spotted in our trees along the water's edge!
Want more? How about go fishing off the dock; bring your bikes to explore the area or ride the centennial trail only 1/2 mile away; go for a hike on any of the numerous trails in the area; enjoy the Nine Mile Recreation Area of Riverside Park which is a short1/2 mile away; off road trails and parks are also nearby. Do you have or want to rent a boat or jet skis? The boat ramp is only ½ mile away at Riverside State Park-Nine Mile Recreation Area ($7 fee to use), the rest of your stay, you may easily enjoy it from the private dock.
The Chalet is a warm and inviting retreat with all the amenities of home. Expansive views from the 25’ wall of windows can be taken in from the great room . The wood beamed, vaulted ceiling provides a rustic feel but the kitchen with its stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and Wolfe range provide the luxury experience you desire. The Chalet is a 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bath home with ample space to spread out in 2 separate great rooms. The Long Lake-Side Chalet is perfectly situated for 8 guests, 1 additional guests may be considered for an additional fee of $75/night/guest. Enjoy a book, games or puzzles from the selection provided or watch TV on the large 70” smart TV, you'll need to log on to your own accounts if desired. This is not a party home, but we do encourage you to invite your friends and family to spend the day with you helping to make a memorable vacation.

Riverside State Park offers mountain biking, rock climbing, horseback riding, hiking, 55 miles of trails, and 600 acres of special terrain for off-road vehicles. It’s also a prime winter hub for the best cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing east of the Cascades.
When you arrive at the Chalet you will find a welcome binder with recommendations for activities, places to visit, boat rentals, dining and grocery options and so much more!
Please know this is a waterfront property and there are some steep stairs down to the dock (see photos) please supervise the little ones. The renter is responsible for watching their children and ensuring a safe environment at all times
This is a large home and has been stocked with necessities; if there is anything additional needed, please reach out and we will try to accommodate you. It does take several hours to clean and “turn over” the house for the next group to enjoy, please try to keep it close to how you were welcomed to it.
