We bought this home for our friends and family to enjoy when in CDA. Being luxury travelers, we struggled with the appointments that often came with VRBO rentals. The leftover camping gear in the kitchen, lack of spices, TV channels, towels, the list goes on and on. Getting in late on the first night with our 10, 7, and 4 year old kids can make it a challenge to check in, get comfortable, and then take inventory of what we need to run out and grab to make for a comfortable stay. If you stay in VRBO's often, you might relate. This place is dialed in with everything you need to make you feel at home. From HBO and ESPN to Henkle Knives in the kitchen, luxe towels, linens, and soaps and even a Nintendo Classic in the downstairs family room for a little nostalgia. Love music?? So do we! This house is set with the newest in SONOS WiFi sound, equipped with Apple Airplay and Amazon Alexa to get you in the groove. Welcome to the modern, newly built in 2020, Fort Grounds Lake Getaway. It's the pinnacle in luxury and comfortable living! Located in one of Coeur D’Alene’s most prestigious and sought after neighborhoods called Fort Grounds. This stunningly beautiful, clean, custom home is perfect for a quick weekend getaway or an extended stay (*PLEASE NOTE*: if you are looking for a place to host wild parties or extra guests beyond maximum, this house is NOT suitable, thank-you). Only a few blocks from the lake and a 5 minute walk from Downtown Coeur D'Alene, yet tucked away on a quiet lot with a private backyard, you can't help but feel at home in this incredible property. The house spans a spacious 4,600 sf and features gorgeous hardwood flooring throughout the family room, kitchen and master bedroom. A beautiful marble trimmed gas fireplace with a flat screen TV above and a modern gourmet open kitchen make this home an ideal place for entertaining and preparing an evening meal for even the largest of groups. Spread out on the front porch, back deck, family room or lower level TV room which make it easy to come together and enjoy some company or retreat for some relaxation time to yourself. Not to mention the central air throughout the house which makes it very comfortable for sleeping and relaxing during the hot summer weather. The gorgeous fully-equipped kitchen is outfitted with Carrara Marble Counters, beautiful white wood custom cabinetry, and an island with seating for two; making for easy meal preparation. There is also a folding table and 4 chairs available for your convenience An inviting porch off the front of the house is a great place to sit, relax, and unwind after a busy day or sip your morning fresh coffee. Out back is a large deck with a BBQ and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy an evening meal. Ample street parking in front of the property. This lake retreat has a beautiful Master’s bedroom located on the main floor, complete with a luxury King bed, en suite bath, flat screen TV, double doors off the deck, it's the perfect place to unwind and get a good nights sleep after a fun filled day. The modern master bath features a large walk in shower, Carrara marble counters, dual sinks, walk in closet and modern finishes. There are three additional guest bedrooms, 2 rooms that boast new comfortable queen beds and an additional room with 2 twin beds. Two rooms are on the first floor and a third located in the bright lower level, each with brand new beds, cozy bedding and dressers. The lower level includes a comfortable large sectional with a 60” flat screen TV, DVD player. The home was WIFI throughout with a strong signal in addition to cable on all 3 TV's. Just minutes from Sherman Ave, and surrounded by a variety of dining, grocery store and shopping options, a short walk to 2 different parks and playgrounds and about a 3 minutes walk to the Lake and the Coeur D’Alene resort, this home is the perfect home base for all of Coeur D’Alene's attraction, events and festivals. The home is situated a few blocks from the Ironman start and finish line as well as the Beach with the perfect spot to watch the July 4th fireworks. Walk along the Centennial trail which is a few minute walk from the home and spans for 23 miles. The Silver Mountain Ski hill is a quick 40 minute drive, and offers world class skiing at a family friendly resort. Or head to Silverwood Family Theme park, a quick 25 minute drive.
