Welcome to a small piece of paradise in the rolling hills of Central Ohio! We are just outside of Mount Vernon, and it is 2.5 miles to Kenyon College and to Mt. Vernon Nazarene University. We are close to Granville, Amish Country and Mohican State Park. Our welcoming, large place is fully equipped with a kitchen, library, and two bedrooms with very comfy queen beds. It has great natural light and wonderful views!
Note: This space is upstairs, one flight.
Your private apartment offers a large, relaxing library and plenty of room to chill out, read, watch tv, surf the web, cook, or whatever your heart desires! The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the space and offer great privacy to all guests.
You will enter the house through a common hallway, and head up the stairs to your private retreat. The laundry area on the first floor is a shared space, as is the deck area accessed from the first floor. Your space is completely private and separate from the other living areas.
We are happy to help make your stay the best possible however we can. Although the apartment is furnished, including a complete kitchen, if you need anything, just let us know! If we are not in our living quarters we are always available by text. We want you to enjoy your time here!
We live in the country, on a beautiful road just perfect for walking and hearing the birds sing. We do have cropland on either side of us, so our setting is quite peaceful! Neighbors are a few hundred yards away, so you can really enjoy your retreat.
Our driveway holds several cars; we only ask that you not block the garage doors. There is a public taxi service in Knox County during the week, as well as a couple of private taxis available, too. We are also a great place to bring a bike to!
