The Lodge sits on a private pond with a sandy beach and 1/3 mile of the Bluegrass River running through its picturesque river bottom meadow, home to deer & wild turkeys with antelope & elk passing through regularly. The Lodge set within a 60 acres ranchette surrounded by larger ranches providing a very private and seclude location.
The lodge is decorated in rustic elegance and includes a central heating & cooling system with a wood burning stove for those chilly mornings. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking accessories and table settings for large groups.
Cheyenne, Laramie & the historic old west camp Fort Laramie are all within an hour's drive for day trip adventures. Great local bar & grill The Shamrock is a 5 minute drive from the Lodge. Nearest grocery stores and restaurants are in the town of Wheatland approximate a 20 minute drive.
Pet Policy: We allow dogs only and need to approve the quantity & breed once booked. We ask that you pick up the dog waste from the yard and beach area. If we find that you bring a pet without paying the pet fee we will charge a penalty.
