Summary: My wife and I had just sold our house and the Lamontagne Farmhouse was exaxtly what we needed to wind down and relax after weeks of chaos. Walking in the door takes you back to a time that most of us can only read about without sacraficing the modern conveniences. Pictures don't do the property justice as many details have been maintined from centries past. And coffee never tasted so good sitting outside by the pond at dawn while also walking the grounds/stables with a good cigar in the evening. Our host Donnie was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. Needless to say we had a wonderful time and will stay here again when we come back to Virginia and visit old friends.
