It’s secluded location is 8 miles from quaint Gainesville, MO, home of Hootin-n-Hollerin, in Ozark County on a well-maintained gravel road. Abundant wildlife abounds throughout the 90 wooded acres, and white-tailed deer can often be seen grazing nearby. You can enjoy the well-marked hiking trails and, if you are lucky and rains have come, relax by the natural waterfall. Either way, you are sure to be amazed at the unusual, volcanic-like rock formations found in that area. If you are the more adventurous type, you may choose to venture off the trails and explore the wooded area on your own. Or, you may want to visit some of the other attractions in the area, such as the grist mills, Caney Mountain Refuge, or some of the numerous lakes, rivers and streams for seasonal adventures in floating, fishing, swimming, or boating.

A beautifully furnished bedroom with queen bed and antique dresser has a sliding door onto the covered porch and ample windows to enjoy the wooded view and gorgeous sunsets. Additional sleeping space is provided by a single bed in the loft area. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower, as well as a hidden washer and dryer. A fire pit is available for cozy campfires and roasting hot dogs, as well as a chiminea to warm you on the back porch.
