GREAT OFF SEASON RATES! Our 1909 home has been completely renovated and beautifully decorated. Located in the historic Garden District, it is only a short walk to Sherman Ave, the center of downtown, the resort and the shores of Lake Coeur D'Alene. Two blocks north of the house is Midtown, an up and coming area of CDA, that has several restaurants, coffee and ice cream shops and great shopping.
Highlights of our home are many. The house has three stories with sleeping accommodations on all three levels. We have a NEW large rooftop deck which has access from two of the upstairs bedrooms as well as from the kitchen breezeway. There are chaise lounges for sunbathing and an outdoor dining table for summer dining and loveseats to relax in and watch the comings and goings on the street below! The small backyard is fenced and is perfect for kids or playing a game of bocce.
On the upper level of the home there are two large bedrooms with one queen and one king bed, a third bedroom offers a full size bed. All bedrooms have flat screen televisions. Two of the bedrooms have sliding doors out to the deck-perfect for that morning cup of coffee! The bathroom has been remodeled to include granite counter top, stone tiles and a jetted Jacuzzi tub.
The main floor is equipped with a large gourmet kitchen with eating space in both the kitchen and dining room. The over-sized living room offers a large flat-screen TV with a Wii video game system and custom designed marble fire place. Attached to the living room through a set of French doors is an office/den that is perfect for a children's playroom and/or extra bedroom. There are kid's toys, games and books as well as a queen sofa bed. The bathroom on this level is a 3/4 bath with shower.
The lower level has a large bedroom with 2 twin beds and flat screen television. The laundry facilities are also on this level.
Downtown is the center of Coeur d'Alene fun and you will find coffee shops, wine tasting, fine dining, shopping, live music and a vibrant art scene. The McEuen City Park with its large kids play area, water splash park, basketball courts and off-leash dog park is just a short walk down Fifth Street. Tubbs Hill walking trail that follows the shoreline of the lake is there as well. The resort and lakeside boardwalk is next to the park. The City Park and Public Beach, on the beautiful shores of Lake Coeur D'Alene, will provide you with sandy beaches, the popular Fort Sherman Playground, and newly restored Playland Pier Carousel. You will find boat, paddle board, kayak & canoe rentals. Lake cruises, seaplane tours, para-sailing and zip-lining are also popular summer activities. Centennial Trail, which winds along the lake for biking, running & walking, is a short walk from the house.
