First this isn't just a place to stay its a destination.
Quiet, 324 ft private lake Michigan beach, no neighbors for 200 ft one directions, over 400 ft other direction, , Our 2 bedroom home has queen size beds in both bedrooms also a half bath in one and full master bath in the other.(maybe bedroom 3)is a loft with 2 twin beds . House has a main full bath for everyone. Above the garage is a bonus game/bedroom with a half bath, also has a full size sofa sleeper couch and a full size futon,and ping pong table. Basically sleeping arrangements for 6 2 full baths and 2 half baths.
Right off the deck is the lawn and a children's activity center , there's a play area on the beach away from the lake, at the lake is the beach and perfect shallow water for several feet . The Cabana sits just feet from the lake perfect place to sit and read or just relax and listen to the waves gently lapping on the beach , or the roar of the waves and whitecaps , either is music to your ears . Cook up the food and eat at the picnic tables on the deck attached to Cabana .
There's many things to do in and around Manistique which makes Manistique a perfect location to stay for the ,many sightseeing locations within driving distance, some are
Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls,waterfalls, wildlife sanctuaries. Obviously fall is good time if you love to watch the fall colors and if you love the snow there's trails close by for snowmobiling and skiing.
If you want there's kayaks and bicycles provided for your entertainment ,along with boogie boards ,horseshoes yard darts , volley ball and ping pong , there's stacks of board games , and good books ,over 350 dvd's and and tvs and dvd players in all rooms.
