Come and enjoy a comfy room in a beautiful location at this rustic remodeled mountain “hotel”. It is a work-in-progress and currently undergoing updates and remodeling. These hotel style rooms can be rented when larger group events are not occupying the lodge and hotel. All rooms have lake views and lakeside access.
This unit is located on the main upper level and is easily accessible from the parking area right in front of the door to the unit. Access to the lake is down a flight of stairs next to the hotel or by walking around the back of the property to the sloped walkways down to the water.
Each "hotel" room has a beautiful view of the lake through a large sliding glass door. Each has a full private bath, luggage rack, large dresser, bedroom and vanity mirror, small table and chairs, microwave and mini fridge, a clothing rack, and small closet. Several lamps provide light in the evening and full length room darkening curtains provide privacy and a reason to sleep in! There is no AC so each room is equipped with a floor fan and a space heater for late and early season cooler days.
There are currently no TV's in the rooms and wifi in the hotel is not strong enough to stream on your devices (we are working on that) We recommend bringing previously downloaded material for you to enjoy on your personal devices.
We do not provide daily "hotel housekeeping". We are set up as a short stay facility and linens can be refreshed if your stay is at least a week.
For cooking you have access to our gas grills located on the south side of the lodge or a fire bowl. Microwaves are provided in the room. You are also welcome to bring your own camp chef if you choose to do some outdoor dutch oven cuisine.
We recently completed a "guest kitchen" which equipped with a full size fridge/freezer, stovetop/oven, food prep dishes and cooking utensils. This is a shared space with other guests.
In room refrigerators are small to medium size.
We have a little firewood but recommend that you bring a bundle of your own if you wish to sit around the fire pit.
LAKE: Your personal boats, bikes, ATV's, kayaks and paddle boards are welcome.
There is a Forest Service boat ramp on the west side of the lake for you to launch your boat.
Other things to note:
We do not have central air (AC) or dedicated heat. We provide a floor fan for the summer to cool off the rooms and a space heater for earlier spring and fall stays. Evening mountain breezes are the perfect AC!
Full length deck on upper and lower levels is a shared space with other guests and not partitioned off between units.
