This secluded waterfront retreat on the edge of Deer Creek, leading to the Ohio River is your next adventure waiting! You can fish, canoe, kayak, explore & enjoy a crackling fire pit at your very own private lodge experience that is loaded with amenities and just steps from the water with a manicured shoreline & dock. you’ll enjoy excellent fishing & nature watching.
There are kayaks and canoes at the lodge with paddles (life vests mandatory) to explore the many picturesque coves. The water is great for this but it’s not suitable for swimming. There is plenty of parking for a boat trailer too. With a launch just around the corner. Take a boat ride on the Ohio river for hundreds of miles of tubing, skiing, and championship fishing.
Sometimes the weather doesn’t cooperate for those adventures, so Twin Canoes Lodge has you covered there too. Literally!
Here, high above the forest canopy you’ll enjoy a COVERED PAVILION called ‘The Rendezvous’…As in “after we tour the Cannelton locks, stop by Blue Heron Winery for a dink and do some antiquing, let’s RENDEZVOUS back here!”
The pavilion is Complete with CEILING FANS, BAR & STOOLS, SMART TV, 6 PERSON HOT TUB, (Sept-April) INFRARED SAUNA (all yr.) BBQ GRILL, PIZZA OVEN, ADIRONDACK LOUNGERS, COVERED CORNHOLE/GAME AREA & A FIRE PIT.
The Lodge home is a climate controlled year-round oasis. With a fully appointed gourmet kitchen stocked with kitchenware, pots/pans baking sheet & alll the staples you should need. There is seating for 10 at the dining table and large island. We have stocked the Lodge with lots of board games puzzles and activities. PLUS every TV is a SmartTV and the Wi-Fi is hi-speed Fiberoptic!
The living room with vaulted Oak ceiling has a wrap around deck and a large view of the woods & water while offering an electric fireplace for warmth and a cozy area for watching a movie after a long day of adventuring. The master bedroom has a sumptuous king sized bed with memory foam, another electric fireplace with a tray ceiling & fan for your comfort. The master bath has a large soaking tub & walk-in shower. Bathroom 2, also downstairs has a walk-in shower as well.
Upstairs you will find the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms appointed with 2) Queen Beds, Two Twin Beds and a set of Twin Bunk Beds all with memory foam mattresses. This second floor is climate controlled plus a remote controlled window AC unit for those who like to really chill. A separate upstairs loft office offers a work area with a desk for anyone needing to work remotely or plan activities.
For exploring all that southern Indiana has to offer, we’re centrally located in the Hoosier National Forest, Only 27 miles to Holiday World. 7 miles to Historic Tell City and the Award Winning Pour House Restaurant and brewery, 25 miles to Owensboro for major shopping and nightlife. 45 miles to Marengo Caves.
