Summary: Heard great reviews about this place from friends who haven't been here in a while, apparently. We were excited about the food we heard so much about. Sorry to say, our meals ( both different)had no flavor and didn't stick around for dessert. Although we stayed for 3 nights, we didn't attempt breakfast or any other meals. The front desk and housekeeping were very nice and accommodating. The room were as clean as one could get them based on it's condition old and outdated). Bathroom ceiling had leak from upstairs bathroom and they changed tiles as their way of repairing it. Was wet the next day again anyway. The hotel is in a beautiful spot in the White Mountains, it just needs some updating.
