Summary: The hotel was fine and in a good location. The glaring problem was the service. On the first day, they gave us a room that was already occupied. When we went down to the desk to get it corrected, the guy at the front desk seemed confused and then bizarrely ran away. We asked to speak to a manager and were told that she would be in touch. The next day, when we asked to speak to the manager again, the woman at the front desk berated us for being rude and difficult (we were neither—we just wanted to speak to the manager). During our entire 4-night stay, we were never allowed to speak to the manager. A couple of smaller things: on day 3, they took all our towels and left us with none. On day 4, they failed to service our room despite having the "please service" sign on the door. These aren't major issues, but for the price we were paying I would expect better. The worst offense was the treatment by front desk staff and the refusal to let us talk to the manager.
