Summary:
This is the smaller unit (Side B) of a two unit home. Enjoy a little taste of Palm Springs while immersing yourself in the history and southern hospitality of Savannah! This historic home oozes old world charm, complete with a live oak covered in Spanish moss, a shared above ground pool in the back yard, a gazebo, beautiful outdoor spaces and original terrazzo floors nestled into a historic fishing village just minutes from downtown and all the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas.
The Space:
The studio apartment is a tastefully converted and fully finished former garage, and is furnished with a small kitchenette with microwave and kitchen essentials, a queen bed, and two pull out sofa beds. There is also a large walk-in spa-style shower. Guests have access to the outside spaces that may be shared with guests who are renting out Side A. The entire home is available for rental as well.
Enjoy those warm Savannah pool side! NOTE: the pool is shared with the other half of the duplex. It is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and is not heated. Please reach out if you have any additional questions!
NOTE: we have weekly maintenance and cleaning performed on our pool. The pool services do not take long and will not disrupt your stay. We will need access to the yard/pool area if you stay with us on service day. Thanks for understanding!
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the B side of the unit. The yard is shared. There may be guests checked into the A side, so if you're a person who is sensitive to guests next door or other sounds, please book elsewhere.
The Neighborhood:
Minutes to one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world, Bonaventure Cemetery is open to visitors year round. Also close to downtown Savannah, Thunderbolt Historical Society, and less than an hour drive to popular beaches.
Getting Around:
We recommend driving, but Uber and Lyft are available in the area.
Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
Interaction with Guests:
We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We will call and touch base on the phone, and we can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together.
