This penthouse condo couldn’t be any closer to the main (Payday) lift at Park City Mountain Resort. The largest resort in the US.
This top floor Condo possesses the best location within steps of the world-renowned Park City Mountain Resort, a venue for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Located in the same building as the ticket office and ski school; this unit offers the ultimate location. But if skiing doesn’t fit your fancy, just take the elevator down two floors and you have access to coffee shops, restaurants, ski rentals and stores that the Park City Plaza has to offer.
The layout: There is a entryway for wet skis, boots and clothes. From there, a staircase leads the way up to the spacious bedroom loft that sleeps 6 in an open plan layout. Straight ahead brings you to an open plan kitchen, living, dining room area. There is a desk for those who need to work, right next to the door to the deck to see all resort happenings.
The master bedroom is just off this open plan area with its own deck overlooking the Payday lift. It has a king sized bed, a TV/ DVD, and a full en-suite bathroom. The bathroom boasts a unique large granite countertop, and a full sized shower.
The living room also has two comfy leather armchairs, an ottoman and a reclining sofa looking straight up the mountainside. A new SmartTV (2021) & DVD. An amplifier with radio is hooked into surround sound speakers. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops, cooking utensils, dishware, and appliances including: microwave and dishwasher and new refrigerator (2021) with in door ice maker. The dining table easily seats 8. The pictures show 4 chairs. We have 2 stools under the table on the refrigerator side and 3 other chairs are provided on the ground floor.
The upstairs loft accommodates up to 6 people with a queen bed, two twin beds and a bunk bed which is perfect for a bunch of kids or a small family with kids. This spacious loft features a full en-suite bathroom, another living area with comfortable seating for 3 to put there legs up on an ottoman, around the TV. There are two tables with chairs that can be used as workstations. One overlooking the ski resort.
In addition this unit has access to Wi-Fi, and underground parking with partial elevator access from the car park to the resort, a short walk, and another elevator up to the top floor of the condo.
A car is not necessary for this vacation. Shuttles are available to pick you up from the airport and a bus stop is located a 1min. walk away in the resort. Also, the Park City Transit System (running throughout the day until midnight each night) is wonderful providing free transportation to Main Street, Deer Valley, The Canyons and anywhere else in Park City you might want to explore. World class restaurants, art galleries and boutiques abound in this cosmopolitan little mining town.
