Beautiful year round home located on McGrath Pond with over 100 ft of sandy beachfront. Easily accommodate 14+ people. Near Colby College and Belgrade Lakes Golf Course. A short drive to Sugarloaf, Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Freeport (LL Bean and outlets) and adjacent area. Air conditioned throughout, WIFI and Cable TV. Main level has open floor plan with master bedroom, second bedroom, family, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs has large bedroom and full bath. Downstairs in law suite has 3 bedrooms, large family room, and Full kitchen, Washer Dryer laundry with 2 private French doors. 2nd Washer and dryer located on main level. Screened in porch, Front Breakfast Deck and large paver back patio with adjacent fire pit area.

Summary: Check in was poor. The owner/PM forgot to text the instructions and the info provided in VRBO is inaccurate and out of date. Had to wait around almost an our to get into the property.Kitchen: One of the best stocked VRBO kitchens I have ever stayed in. They had EVERYTHING! Except sharp knives, these were elusive. The beach was AWESOME! Great doc and swimming area, absolutely superb.The location was easy to get to, and Waterville has all the amenities nearby. It rained one afternoon and we took the kids to a movie. Great ice cream place in Oakland as well. The house itself was a bit of a let down. While the primary high use areas of the kitchen/bathroom were clean, the rest of the house was not. We had a power outage and had to reboot the TV/Wifi and it was covered in layers of dust. There is a great row of windows in the main room looking towards the lake, the windowsills, which are at perfect toddler height, were covered in the dust. Pictures reflect the outdoor porch which is in rough shape (put nicely) and the patio outside has a broken/defunct picnic table and old rug just left there. We stayed in the upstairs bedroom, where there is no possibility of closing the skylights, so you wake up when the sun comes up. The bed creaked with every move, but this was just that bed according to family who stayed in other rooms. What gets me is that this is obviously a very profitable rental property but they provide incredibly poor quality pillows and toilet paper.
