Welcome to the Park Ave Home. This home has never been on the vacation rental market prior to January 2020. We are situated on a corner just a block south of the University of Arizona campus, perfect for anyone with business or visiting U of A. EZ under a mile to downtown with the vibrant dining and business scene. Trendy 4th Avenue shops and eateries a 1/4 of a mile. However, it is not only location! This ninety-year-old property was lovingly taken down to the foundation and completely rebuilt in 2020. It is new everything! Sparkling kitchen with all new cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, acres of stone counter space, lighting. The whole house features new tile flooring with newly carpeted bedrooms.
The large living room has two giant couches, including one with feather stuffed cushions for the ultimate in comfort. High vaulted ceilings and a big smart TV. Gas fireplace. Lovely porch off the front door with a roll down shade and comfy outdoor chairs from which to watch the world go by. Dining area is adjacent to kitchen for a great room feeling. Smart TV here also.
The carpeted master bedroom hosts a brand new king bed, multi-drawer dresser, smart TV, barn door entrance to a walk in closet loaded with shelving, nooks and crannies. The ensuite master bathroom sparkles with new tile, new toilet, stone vanity, new fixtures and elegant walk in shower.
The carpeted second bedroom offers a new queen mattress, a work from home desk, closet and drawer storage areas. The second bathroom has a new shower / tub with modern tile, new vanity and toilet.
You will enjoy the super modern ceiling fans in all rooms (not your everyday Home Depot variety!) Of course, the remodel brought all new dual pane windows for privacy and comfort, keeping the exterior noise levels outside! A new heating and air conditioning system keeps you confidently comfortable year around and on demand hot water means you will have what you need. A big plus is the Culligan soft water treatment enjoyed at all fixtures in the home. The SW desert has notoriously hard water and this system softens it up to a sublime comfort level.
Did I mention the full size washer and dryer, new, of course? How about the outside shower off of the master bedroom? Again, not your basic Home Depot variety but a very fancy and unique system. You may choose the patio off the kitchen area for your morning coffee, on the shady north side of the home. Bar stool height table and chairs provides an easy way to start your day.
The home comes with robust wi-fi. You will have You Tube TV to access local and cable channels. Bring your personal streaming aps (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.) information for further viewing options.
The entire property is surrounded by a stucco fence for privacy and comfort. There is a huge, covered parking area for your car(s) or RV if you brought one. This is accessed via an electric gate (the remote will be waiting for you at check-in). A nicely landscaped courtyard with more comfy chairs is there for your nighttime desert star gazing and wine sipping.
The Park Avenue Home is a non-smoking residence, with smoking allowed outside. This is a dog friendly home. Small dogs can squeeze through the driveway gate. We travel with our golden retriever and if you travel with you dog, he/she is welcome in the home. There is a $50 pet fee. No cats.
