Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! This cabin is located on over 160 acres w/ miles of private trails and abundant wildlife! The floors/trim of the home were made from reclaimed wood from an old amish barn nearby! The property is surrounded by many Amish/Mennonite families so it is quite unique to see a horse-drawn carriage on the roadways. This cabin is located far enough out to have peace & quiet but still only 15 minutes to the city(Wal-Mart, coffee, restaurants, etc)
This cabin a 2 bedroom / 2 bath in Leitchfield Kentucky. Its a nice and private location, with only one other home within a quarter mile of the cabin. There is a Dollar General less than 5 minutes away that carries all of your necessities, plus there is a Wal-Mart that is about 15 mins away, along with many other restaurants! The town in Leitchfield, has a quaint-small town feel to it with its Courthouse in the center of the Town Square.
Things to do at the cabin:
-Fireplaces: A guest favorite is building fires. There is a wood burning fireplace inside the cabin in the family room, and there is a Solo stainless steel fire pit on the porch. We keep a large supply of firewood available at the cabin to use at no charge.
-Trails: There is miles of trails on the property and its usually pretty easy to spot a deer, turkey, beaver, etc! Feel free to bring your mountain bikes, side by side(UTV), or horses.
-Creeks: There are several creeks on the property with springs and running water. Kids love grabbing rocks and building dams and finding cool stones!

-Rough River Lake: Rough River Lake is less than 10 minutes away from the cabin and has a couple of fishing spots. You can use the fishing poles provided at the cabin to go catch a few fish for dinner!
-Leitchfield Aquatic Center: In the summer there is a great water park for the family!
-Mammoth Cave: It is about an hours drive to Mammoth Cave National Park
