This 2 bedroom, 3.5 bath home, sits high on a bluff overlooking the Middle Fork of the Flathead River. The upper deck looks East to the river and to Scalplock Mountain Fire Lookout and Glacier National Park ! There is a path to the river, where a lovely beach provides a great place to picnic, swim or fish. Glacier National Park is directly across the river. The cabin is located half way between East and West Glacier off of HWY 2, so it makes it easy to visit both sides of the park.
Time to unplug and enjoy all the beauty that surrounds you! There is no cell phone coverage at the cabin and no land line for a phone. Good Cell coverage is available 25 miles east or west of the cabin. The Internet is Starlink and WiFi calling generally works okay. There is streaming available on the 4 TV’s in the house. The basement TV is a big screen TV with a DVD player and an extensive dvd library.
The kitchen has all modern appliances and lots of fun cooking gadgets. There is a grill on the upper deck for you to use. There are spices and condiments for your use. There is a Keurig Coffee maker and pods are provided including decaf.
This is a perfect spot for a honeymoon or for 2 couples or a family of 4 to relax in all the splendor of Glacier National Park and the surrounding area. There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds. A comfortable blowup mattress is available if someone wants to use the basement as a separate bedroom. Whitefish Ski Resort has lots of summer activities and is about one hour from the house.
The house is well maintained and is cleaned thoroughly between guests.
