We're a Christian Bed and Breakfast serving the heart of Central, North Central, and Northeast Pennsylvania with vintage lodging, hearty breakfasts, and family entertainment. Everyone is welcome to our table and we're open all year round. The Fish & Loaves B & B is affordable family style lodging in the rolling hills of Susquehanna Valley.
Our rustic setting features five bedrooms with beautiful scenery from nearly every window. Single queen rooms, a double queen room, and a three-room suite are available on two floors. The first floor bath is private while second floor bath is common. All rooms are individually air conditioned and both floors are serviced by Carico International Nutri-Tech Air Purification Systems. For our “wired” guests, amenities include free WiFi throughout the building. Every room is supplied with surge protection and there are iPod and cell phone charging stations on each night table.
The bed count includes seven queen-sized beds, one fold-down Futon, one day bed, and one roll-away. This listing is for the rental of the entire bottom two floors of the bed and breakfast and also includes access to the Fish & Loaves Center Building for retreat or event purposes. Please also note that the owners and family reside at this address on the third floor year-round.
The onsite Fish & Loaves Center is home to the Catawissa Coffee House - - a Christian venue that features family style entertainment on select Saturdays through December!
We treat all our valued guests like extended family, starting with a hearty home-cooked breakfast every morning. We offer multiple choices from a daily breakfast menu and we'll accommodate special needs diets as necessary. If you're a morning person that loves to converse, be prepared for lively breakfast table banter! Otherwise, your hosts will typically be available from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM to meet your needs and answer questions.
Our region is famous for it's Farm Markets, Antique Shops, and family oriented attractions and eateries. The Knoebel's Amusement Resort is only 15 minutes away. Knoebels park is nationally recognized for its wooden roller coasters. Also nearby is the Rolling Hills Red Deer Farm with acres of red deer that may be hand-fed from a hay-ride wagon. For racing enthusiasts, the Numidia Drag Strip is less than mile away. And Rohrbach's Farm Market and Gift Shop and Ponduce Farms feature full schedules of family-friendly shopping and events!
Regional activities include hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking at the Wieser State Forest Preserves just South of Numidia.
