Enjoy this 3 BR, 2 BA cabin with enclosed patio game room, open concept floor plan, soaking tub and fire pit located 1.5 miles from Hidden Valley Resort entrance. This home has amazing outdoor space with hot tub, picnic area and terraced fire pit!

Lovingly named, Blue Mountain Retreat, the cabin is tucked away off Route 31 so year round access is possible even in the snowy months between November 1 to March 31st. Ski all day at Seven Springs or Hidden Valley resort and relax at this family friendly vacation rental in the evening. This cabin is a short distance to Kooser State park (fishing, hiking paths and swimming area). The Laurel Hill State park is just 4 miles away so hiking, fishing on the Laurel Hill Creek and Laurel Hill Lake makes for a day of outdoor fun!

Summary: We had everything we needed for our short 3 day family winter trip to seven springs (20-25 min) and hidden valley (10 min). Very roomy place. Recently renovated. Clean and cozy. If the weather was worse we would have needed to use 4WD for in and out of parking area. Our cars have it, but just something for others to note. Upstairs bedrooms get a little hot, even with thermostat on 68, but it was manageable. Also the floors aren’t quiet if you’ve got little ones running around. All those things are probably no big deal unless you have small heavy footed children like us. If you like pot coffee, make sure to pack one. There was a keurig so we brought our own. That’s probably me being overly critical and pretty standard for a holiday rental. We would come back. There were tons of games and even toys for our kids. They loved being here. They’re already asking to return to the ‘blue cabin.’ Also close to a couple local restaurants. You don’t need to come here expecting to rough it. We didn’t use them but there were bikes to take for a spin, a hot tub, and a really cool fire pit area. Maybe we will check those out next time!
