Direct lakefront retreat with a private beach, dock and fire pit on the Great Sacandaga. Adirondack Lakefront Retreat on the Great Sacandaga Reservoir located in Northampton, NY is a beautiful one acre property with 141 feet of lake frontage with 2 seasonal wood cabins and a 2 family home.
Enjoy the ENTIRE property during the summer months for total privacy and to reconnect with family and friends. There is nowhere else quite like this to view early morning sunrises and beautiful evening sunsets.
Right from your doorstep you have access to swimming, boating and fishing all summer long. The retreat offers a large, gently sloping yard and a sandy beach for all ages as well as a fire pit for nighttime storytelling & star gazing. A private boat dock and mooring buoy allows you to bring a boat or 2 or you have the option of renting one, if you wish, to explore the beautiful lake and its many islands.
There is plenty of room to roam on the property for endless fun and outdoor relaxation. Picnic tables, a sandbox and swing set for children and a volleyball net on the grass, as well as a horseshoe pit will keep all ages busy. A fantastic game room is located off the cabins and features a pool table, air hockey, foosball, comfy seating and a flat screen tv. A ping pong table is located at the outdoor covered patio of the main house along with additional seating.
EACH unit has its own fully stocked kitchen, outdoor gas grill, bedrooms, full bathroom with stand-up shower and living/dining areas. There are a total of 9 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The cabin's enclosed porch is perfect for relaxing/dining together with plenty of seating and an amazing lake view. There is even a dry bar for the adults.
Property is near Saratoga Springs, Lake George and Cooperstown for great day trips.
