Tucked into an evergreen grove on the banks of Trestle Creek, this waterfront cottage is a place for taking in the quiet, natural beauty of Hope. Access the shores of Lake Pend Oreille right down the road, and spend your evenings barbecuing on the deck, soaking in the hot tub beneath the trees, and telling stories around the firepit at the water's edge.
This creekside cottage sits one block up the road from Route 200, which traces the east side of Lake Pend Oreille. Within half a mile, you'll find Trestle Creek Park on the lakeshore, the Trestle Creek Boat Ramp, and the Trestle Creek Day Use Area. Small-town Hope is three miles south and bustling Sandpoint is 14 miles across the lake.
This home was designed for making the most of time spent outdoors, with a gas grill, multiple dining sets, and a propane heater outside on the deck overlooking the creek. But you won't lose sight of the view as you head indoors, thanks to generous windows that fill the updated living spaces with light.
Begin each morning with a workout in the home gym, a half hour in the sauna, and breakfast prepared in an open, modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The kitchen and living room are wonderful spots to gather at the end of the day as well, as you play board games at the dining room table, toss a log in the woodstove, and stream your favorite movies on the smart TV. Free WiFi, a desk workspace with monitors, and a washer/dryer are provided as well.
