4 Bedroom Cabin in Bigfork
The cabin has three floors that all view the river, mountains and overlook large front and back yards. The back yard has a fire pit for use during the burn season, plenty of space to relax by the river or play a volleyball game on, and direct access to the river on which to float and fish on. The daylight basement has two bedrooms with queen beds (one bed includes an upper bunk bed), a full bathroom, washer and dryer, TV, and a family room with a comfortable futon for more guests. The main floor is open and contains a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room with TV/Internet and stereo, and another full bathroom. The top floor is a loft that contains the main bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a private half-bathroom and walk-in closet with a winding staircase leading up to it. A covered porch surrounds the cabin with views of the river and mountains, and holds a gas BBQ to cook your favorite foods. Heat and cooling is provided by an efficient ductless system. On the grounds are also a children’s swing set and a two-car garage. Total available sleeping spaces are: 3 queen beds, one queen-sized futon, one twin bunk bed above a queen bed, and some inflatable mattresses available and plenty of floor space for sleeping bags if needed. There is cellular and data service reception and quite country roads to take walks or bike rides on as well. Please ask about any of the amenities on the site!
Regarding activities in the area, there are too many to list! The immediate area is a four-season outdoor recreation wonderland with something for every member of your family. You can enjoy the river in our backyard by fishing, floating and swimming in it. Or enjoy the greater Flathead Valley which offers fishing, boating, whitewater rafting, hiking in Jewel Basin and Glacier National park, winter snow skiing and summer gondola rides and mountain biking at Big Mountain, waterskiing/wakeboarding and boating on nearby Swan Lake, Echo Lake or Flathead lake, snowmobiling, sightseeing, wildlife viewing, and the Bigfork Summer Playhouse (live theater). At various times of the year, there are art and cultural fairs all over Flathead Valley. Bigfork, Kalispell, and Whitefish are famous for their shopping, fine dining, art galleries and old downtown buildings at all times of the year.
