Woodstock, the quintessential Vermont town, is home to the Billings Farm and Museum and the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park. Vermont's best public golf course, Green Mountain National Golf Course, is located 3 miles away from Pittsfield. The incredibly challenging Killington Golf Course is close by, as well.
