"Black Eyed Susan" is our three bedroom, two and a half bath cottage in the Paradise Heights area of Deep Creek Lake. The cottage is perfect for groups looking to escape the hustle and bustle of life. Located in the heart of the mid-lake region, our cottage is a short drive to WISP, Arrowhead, Uno’s, Honi Honi, Garrett Cinemas, Castleman’s Cafe, and walking distance to Dutch’s. Those wanting adventure can easily head to Wisp Resort or one of several state parks. For those longing to spend time on the water, Silver Tree Marine is within walking distance. There you’ll find pontoon and speed boat rentals as well as kayak and stand up paddleboards. The shopper in your crew will love the boutiques in McHenry and downtown Oakland.
New as of Summer 2024: we provide a MD State Park pass for your use during your stay. The MD State Park pass allows you (1 vehicle, up to 10 people) free entry to any state park, unlimited boat launching at the park, and 10% discount on all state-operated concessions items.

The primary bedroom is conveniently located on the ground floor and features a king bed, smart TV, and private bath. Upstairs you’ll find another king bedroom with smart TV. The final bedroom features two queen beds and a smart TV. Those wanting to kick back and relax can enjoy nature views from the deck or the beautiful picture window in the living area.
