BEAUTIFUL Kentucky Lake area home in Pirates Cove on Jonathan Creek. 2 bedroom + Loft and Sunroom with 7 beds to sleep 10. This property is on over an acre including a private, half-basketball court to keep the kids busy outside. Firepit, hammocks, outdoor dining and grill. 2 block walk to neighborhood docks and boat launch. 20 minutes to Murray State University, 15 minutes from Land between the Lakes and 10 minutes to Kenlake State Park and resort.
Our family friendly home is a two-story 1,900 square foot home with 2 bedrooms, a loft, sunroom, 2 bathrooms and 2 entertainment spaces. In addition to the living, dining and kitchen, the main floor has sleeping accommodations with the master bedroom (King) and the sunroom with daybed and trundle (2 twins). The main bath with double vanity and large jacuzzi tub and laundry room are also on the main floor. From the loft upstairs enjoy 2 large windows overlooking the neighborhood landing strip and Jonathan Creek. The loft has 2 single beds. Through a door you will find the 2nd bedroom with 2 queen beds, TV and en suite bathroom with shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped and offers a gas stovetop and wall oven. Plenty of space to store food in the pantry and full refrigerator. A dishwasher makes evening clean up much easier!
There are 3 smart TVs in the home. A Samsung Smart TV in the sunroom, a roku TV in the master bedroom and a roku TV in the second bedroom upstairs.
In addition to the front porch french doors and garage door access, there are 2 doors on the back of the home (one from the sunroom, and one from the laundry room). So plenty of spots to access the outdoors.
Plenty of parking onsite. There is room for at least 5 vehicles. If you choose to bring your watercraft, there is an adequate parking in a long spot next to the garage to pull your truck and trailer all the way into the driveway. There is also space along the street in front of the sport court if you are towing your toys.
You will have full access to our home and 1-acre property. We ask that you be respectful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after dusk. The sport court hours are dusk to dawn. For the court there are balls and scooters available for use in the garage. In the rear of the home behind our property is a wooded area and creek down in a ravine. Lots a wildlife and critters so please use discretion.
Please note the owner does have personal property stored in the garage (ie: tools, equipment, personal watercraft) that are not available for guest use. There is also a locked closet inside for our cleaning staff. All other areas are fully accessible and available to guests.
As mentioned, we do have a ring doorbell that we use as security camera for our home. There are no recording devices inside the home.
Pirates Cove Resort does offer day passes for the pool, beach, dock and launch area. If you choose to bring your boat or personal watercraft along, please contact the Pirates Cove Office to inquire about daily/weekly prices and to ensure it’s operational during your visit.
There are several other launch areas nearby, including Kenlake that is free and offers a large area to park your truck and trailer. Kenlake also had a marina, boat rentals and restaurant.
