Valley Vista cabin is a cozy mountain-top cabin with breathtaking views & everything you need for your getaway.
The highlights:

- Drive 20 mins into Berkeley Springs for amazing restaurants, shopping, & dozens of festivals
Winter update: we've had to battle several storms so far this winter where we had icy roads and/or multiple inches of snow. Our cabin is out in the woods on a gravel road, and the roads aren't always plowed immediately; you may need an SUV and/or four-wheel drive to access the cabin during or immediately after a storm. Please keep this in mind when booking -- and note that we follow our standard cancellation policy for any weather-related cancellations.

Our mountain-top retreat is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families or small groups of friends.
The cabin includes:

- A huge deck with a propane grill and stunning views
- Fast WiFi that's good enough to stream movies and hold video calls
- Fully-stocked kitchen with a stove/oven and microwave
- AC in all the bedrooms
- Wood fireplace to keep you cozy at night
- Outside fire pit with seating for the whole gang
We often take our two little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly.
Note: the tap water often has a yellow/light brown appearance due to high minerality levels -- specifically iron and manganese. We've had the pipes/well inspected and there's nothing wrong with them; the presence of iron/manganese is normal in this area, and the water is perfectly safe to drink. That said, we have a Brita pitcher with filters we regularly change that you can use; it's on the kitchen counter near the sink.
Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to everything we are -- particularly the Great Cacapon River and Berkeley Springs. The Great Cacapon is fantastic for kayaking, canoeing, and fishing throughout the year. And the town of Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US; the shopping, spa, and restaurant scene does not disappoint!
COVID update: we're taking the coronavirus risk seriously, and have taken steps to ensure you're able to fully enjoy your stay:
- We're using disinfecting spray on all surfaces and handles (doors, appliances) and only using disposable paper towels when cleaning
- Our cleaners are washing their hands thoroughly as soon as they arrive at the cabin
- If a cleaner is showing signs of sickness, they will be staying home and not allowed in the cabin
