Bring the home's provided boogie board to Menemsha Beach, only four miles away, or go on a nature hike at Menemsha Hills Reservation and Waskosim's Rock Reservation. Whatever you decide to do with your time on the island, it's sure to be lovely.
Spread out a blanket on the property's backyard for a picnic in view of the sea. Host a cookout on the patio with gas grill and serve dinner on the picnic tables.
Step inside the home and be greeted by the colorful walls bringing character and light to this vintage but well-maintained home. Get lost in a book from the extensive library while curled up in the sitting room or gather your pals and set aside time for Monopoly or Life while CDs play. Or, you can watch your favorite show on the living room's TV (with DVD and cable). WiFi is also available.
In the sunny, yellow kitchen, you can make coffee via the bean grinder and cook up a storm while the breeze softly drifts in through the screen door. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make anything from the aforementioned coffee to a pancake breakfast to a Sunday dinner.
A filling homemade dinner might make you sleepy, so head upstairs to a roomy queen bed or two twins in the two bedrooms. The main floor has a bedroom with a comfy queen.

Eight guests total will be accommodated among the three-bedroom main house and separate cabin. Should you require extra accommodations in June, rent its sister property The Bird's Nest. You'll find two additional bedrooms at this cozy home, upping the occupancy to 12 guests in all.
When you've hiked to your heart's content, take a tour of Martha's Vineyard lighthouses before settling in for a fill-up at Tisbury's Black Dog Tavern. For a holistic Cape Cod experience, take the ferry to Nantucket for boutique shopping and more beaches, then visit the mainland before returning home.

Dock details: Small Shared dock on to Chilmark Pond - Located at the end of Bassett Road, which is usually installed by Memorial Day. Please see attached map showing the exact path to take from the house.
