Welcome to the "Russel House". .If you are looking for a grand and majestic Victorian, then this home, known as the 'Russell House', will speak to you. As you enter through the vestibule, you will note the hand-carved staircase and fresco ceilings in the foyer. A formal parlor to your right and a grand sitting room to your left. The impressive wood paneled library offers an intimate seating area with its gas fireplace, built-in bookcases and leaded glass windows. The formal dining room with stained glass windows offers an elegance of times gone by. With both a front and rear staircase, this four bedroom, two and a half bath home gives you a glimpse of the past with its servants quarters off the main sleeping areas. You will enjoy modern conveniences such as internet, cable tv but you can also just forget about modern living and pretend you are living in 1882. The screened in porch on the side of the house or the front porch are great places to enjoy your morning coffee. The home is convenient to shopping, movies and everything you need to make your stay feel like home.
Anyone wanting to film anything in the home must contact me first. There has been excess wear and tear on the home because of companies filming in the home. There are up to 10 people sometimes. Because of this I am going to have a different fee. The nightly fee will be 300.00 plus any fees incurred from the website. No exceptions.
Pet policy - There is a 35.00 per pet fee up to two small pets. This is a one time fee. I use the honor system and have the guests leave the money on the table before they leave. This money is for the cleaning lady.
