Located at the foothills of Flathead National Forest, this secluded home has a lovely tree-filled property with a private pond. It's also just 30 miles from stunning Glacier National Park and lots of great outdoor activities year-round. You'll be about 12 miles from Flathead Lake where you can paraglide, fish, and sail, and 10 miles from the town of Bigfork, which becomes a winter wonderland village, bedecked with lights and wreaths during the holiday season. And throughout the year, Bigfork boasts a regionally recognized playhouse, galleries, and restaurants. If you love the outdoors, float the last mile of Swan River right into the bay in downtown Bigfork, or walk the trail that runs along the whitewater section of the river and look for kayakers.
In the winter Bigfork is decorated with lights and wreaths and called the winter village.
An inviting front deck area leads to the entrance of the home, which has a nice entryway with a bench for easily taking on and off those hiking boots. The main floor living space features rustic, country decor and comfortable furnishings, including comfy sofas and a TV equipped with Roku for a variety of entertaining options on Netflix streaming.
The living space is open to the kitchen and dining area. In the updated kitchen, you'll have modern, stainless steel appliances, rustic-chic cabinetry, and plenty of space to maneuver for cooking up delicious meals.
The dining area has a contemporary table with seating for six, plus there are bar stools for seating at the kitchen counter as well. A door leads out to the deck, which has two lounge chairs for relaxing in the Montana sun and plenty of space for gazing out at the beautiful natural scenery.
With two bedrooms, a sofabed, and two full bathrooms, this home will accommodate up to six guests maximum. There's one bedroom with a double-size bed and a full bathroom on the main floor, then on the lower level, you'll have a second bedroom with a queen-size bed, sofabed in the living area, and full bathroom.
Downstairs, there's also a great second living space with a cozy set of sofas for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle upstairs. There's a wood stove to keep you nice and toasty on those chilly Montana nights, plus a nice desk space for logging on to the Internet when you need to send off that last email.
This home also has a private washer/dryer for your convenience and a two-car garage for parking.
